WHEREAS, each citizen, local business, school, government agency, healthcare provider, and faith-based organization shares the burden of mental health concerns and has a responsibility to promote mental wellness, recovery, and support prevention efforts. WHEREAS, good mental health is critical to the well-being of our families, community, schools, and businesses and WHEREAS, Denton County MHMR Center and Denton County Behavioral Health Leadership Team, through their unique partnership and approach to serving individuals, are effectively caring for the mental health needs of those in our community and
WHEREAS, people with mental illnesses recover if given the necessary services and support in their communities and WHEREAS, mental illnesses affect almost every family in America and WHEREAS, the citizens of Trophy Club value their overall health and that of their families and are proud to support observances such as Mental Health Month and WHEREAS, the citizens of Trophy Club understand there is a proven connection between good mental health and overall personal health and It is IMPORTANT to spread awareness and support those who need it!Ī PROCLAMATION OF THE TROPHY CLUB TOWN COUNCIL RECOGNIZING MAY 2022 AS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH IN TROPHY CLUB. It is a subject of deep importance to not only the leadership of this community but to those who live within it as well. At the Tuesday, April 26th Town Council Meeting, Mayor Fleury and Council Members issued a proclamation identifying May as Mental Health Awareness Month in Trophy Club.
