Currently I've completed the first 4 worlds with 100% completion on the Switch and only the first 2 worlds on PC with 100% completion and I can confidently say, the smoothness of playing this game at 100+fps with not hitches is amazing. I actually care about both but if I had to pick only one, I'd prefer graphical quality. I guess it all comes down to what you value more. The switch's processors are mostly spent making sure it lives up to it's promise of a hybrid console.

Well don't forget, PCs carry $700 graphics cards and processors. 引用自 Agarillobob:there is still mod support and loading times thats always better on PC, you just cant compare, consoles are for exclusive games and local multiplayer, tho even PC does the local co-op multiplayer part enough

Here I'll link a YouTube video showcasing it: That being said if you look at switch version of the game and compare it to the version running on Cemu, you can clearly see the "fog" filter im referring to which is also present in the Portable Switch mode version of Yooka-Laylee. Im surprised you didn't notice framerate drops on the great plateau when walking down from the old man towards the temple of time in the very beginning. I mean, I got Breath of the Wild with my switch, back before it's own framerate issues got patched, and I barely noticed a thing. THEN AGAIN, It could still be there, and my eyes are just trained to notice different things. The only real thing I'm seeing is this heat-wavey thing, and Shipwreck creek and tribalstack tropics looking like they're taking place at sundown on portable. The Mac barely can make a consistent 30 fps on the lowest setting, but the pc can, but on lowest or medium settings. The main setup I run is a macbook pro (2015 model), and when my brother's home from college I occassionally use his pc. You should see a vastly washed out image. Or run it on your TV and then try it out on the Switch in portable mode. 引用自 Dark Exsphere: and clear on the switch? I think you need to play the PC version and compare. Has anyone else had an experience like this? just make sure the PC is wired and if you can, the device you're streaming to. All you need is a laptop, android phone, nvidia shield device etc to stream a game from your PC. If you don't have 5Ghz wifi, you can always connect wired. The switch version of the game, looks super washed out (like a white fliter applied to the screen) and the microstutter is what hits me the most despite being an occasional occurence. Like they are occasional, however if you timed a jump, and a microstutter happend to occur during that timing (which happened to me several times) then the jump won't count and you'll just be standing there like an idiot.Īll in all, the game is playable on switch, but if you're the type of person who goes outside to work or buy stuff and come back home, use Gamestream/Steam In-Home streaming. To top it off, the game gets these RANDOM microstutters. Maybe that's just because of the framerate. The 30fps doesn't really bother me that much, but the added input delay from the Joycons was more than the input delay experienced using In-home streaming/Gamestream. Visually its fine, however when playing in portable mode, i swear the game looks way more washed out than streaming it to my Laptop/NvidiaShieldPortable. In TV mode the game doesn't look too bad. Then I decided to do an experiment and purchase the game on my Nintendo Switch. The problem was that Windows would "block application from using yooka laylee". The only time I had a problem was when I tried to stream the game using Moonlight on my Nvidia Shield Portable. So all in all the game was amazing on my PC and almost as amazing streaming with little to no delay, stutter, nothing. Game ran flawlessly yet again however I'm not particularily a fan of the Nvidia Shield portables analogue sticks as well as their clicky buttons, especially the D-Pad. I also streamed the game using Nvidia GameStream on my Nvidia Shield Portable. The game ran unbelievable smooth at 60fps and looked a tad bit blurrier than the actual game running on my PC. My PC was in my basement and I streamed the game (wired) from my PC to my bedroom on the second floor using 5Ghz wifi. I then played the game via Steams In-Home Game Streaming service. I purchased on Steam for about $34 CAD from a secondary online store. So I've lately been having the itch to play Yooka Laylee.
